Teeth in a Day: Fixed Implants in Leeds

If you have lost most of your teeth, or your remaining teeth are failing, Teeth in a Day could give you a full set of fixed teeth on dental implants, fitted on the same day they are placed. At The Tooth Spa in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, you can walk in with failing teeth or a loose denture and leave with a complete, natural-looking smile.

It is a life-changing option for people who are tired of dentures that slip, or who have been hiding their smile for years.

What is Teeth in a Day?

Instead of replacing every missing tooth one by one, a small number of implants are placed in each jaw. A full arch of fixed teeth is then attached to them the same day. The teeth are screwed securely in place, so they don’t come out and there is no adhesive or palate covering the roof of your mouth.

Who is it for?

  • People with many missing, broken or loose teeth
  • Denture wearers who want fixed teeth that don’t move
  • Anyone with failing teeth from advanced gum disease or decay
  • People who want to avoid months without teeth during treatment

Your treatment, step by step

  1. Consultation: we examine your mouth, talk about the smile you want and take a 3D CBCT scan to check the bone.
  2. Planning: your implants and new teeth are planned digitally, and you get a written treatment plan with costs.
  3. Treatment day: any failing teeth are removed, the posts are placed and your fixed teeth are fitted, all in one day. IV sedation is available if you are nervous.
  4. Healing: over the next few months the posts bond with the bone. You eat soft foods at first, then build up.
  5. Final teeth: once healed, your final, stronger set of teeth is made and fitted.

Benefits of Teeth in a Day

  • Fixed teeth from the first day, with no gap in your smile
  • Eat, speak and smile with confidence
  • No loose dentures or adhesives
  • Helps preserve the jawbone, keeping your face looking fuller
  • Fewer implants than replacing every tooth individually

Aftercare

Keep to soft foods while everything heals and clean around your new teeth carefully every day. We show you how, and give you an aftercare pack. Regular check-ups and hygienist visits help your new smile last for many years.

How much does Teeth in a Day cost?

Full arch implant treatment starts from £8,800 per arch. Every case is different, so you will get a written plan with the full cost before you go ahead. 0% finance is available to spread the cost. See all prices on our fees page.

Teeth in a Day vs dentures

Dentures sit on the gums and can slip when you eat or speak, and many people need adhesive to keep them in. Over time the jawbone under a denture shrinks, which can change the shape of your face and make the denture looser still.

With Teeth in a Day your new teeth are fixed to dental implants, so they stay put. You clean them in your mouth like natural teeth, and the implants help keep the jawbone in place.

Teeth in a Day vs individual implants

If you only have one or a few missing teeth, single implants or an implant bridge are usually the better choice. Teeth in a Day is designed for replacing a whole arch: a full set of upper or lower teeth supported by a small number of implants, so you don’t need an implant for every tooth.

What happens on the day?

You will usually be with us for most of the day. After local anaesthetic, or IV sedation if you prefer, any failing teeth are removed and the implants are placed. We then fit the fixed set of teeth prepared for you, check your bite and go through your aftercare before you go home.

If you have sedation, plan for someone to take you home, and take things easy for a few days afterwards.

Living with your new teeth

For the first few weeks you will need to stick to soft foods while the implants settle. After that, most people can enjoy a wide range of foods again. Brushing twice a day, cleaning under your new teeth with the tools we give you, and regular reviews and hygienist visits all help keep your implants healthy for the long term.

Teeth in a Day FAQs

Will I really leave with teeth on the same day?
Yes, for most suitable patients. Your scan and consultation will confirm whether same-day teeth are right for you.

Does it hurt?
The treatment is done under local anaesthetic, with IV sedation if you prefer, so you shouldn’t feel pain. Some swelling and soreness for a few days afterwards is normal.

What if I don’t have enough bone?
Angling the posts can often avoid the need for bone grafting. Your scan shows how much bone you have and we will explain your options.

How long will my new teeth last?
With good care and regular check-ups, they can last for many years, often decades.

Am I too old for Teeth in a Day?
Age on its own is not usually a barrier. What matters most is your general health and the bone in your jaw, which we check at your consultation.

Can I have it if I smoke or have diabetes?
Smoking and poorly controlled diabetes can slow healing and raise the risk of problems with implants. We will talk this through honestly at your consultation and explain what you can do to give your treatment the best chance.
