Invisalign in Leeds: Clear Aligner Teeth Straightening
Straighter teeth look great, are easier to keep clean and can improve your bite. At The Tooth Spa in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, we offer Invisalign clear aligners and short-term fixed braces, giving adults and teenagers discreet ways to a straighter, healthier smile. We plan every treatment around your teeth and the result you want.

Invisalign clear aligners
Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of clear, removable aligners instead of metal brackets and wires. They are almost invisible and fit around everyday life.
- Consultation: we check your teeth and gums, talk about what you would like to change and explain whether aligners suit you.
- Digital plan: we scan your teeth and show you how they are expected to move, so you can see your result before you start.
- Your aligners: you wear each set for about 22 hours a day, moving on to the next set as directed.
- Check-ups: we see you regularly to make sure everything is on track.
- Retainers: once your teeth are straight, retainers keep them in place.
- Almost invisible, so most people won’t notice you’re wearing them
- Removable, so you can eat what you like and brush and floss as normal
- Smooth plastic with no brackets or wires to rub your cheeks
Short-term fixed braces
If you prefer a fixed brace, short-term orthodontics uses discreet, tooth-coloured brackets and fine wires to straighten the front teeth more quickly than traditional braces. It is ideal for mild or moderate crowding and gaps.

Is teeth straightening right for me?
Treatment can help with:
- crowded or overlapping teeth
- gaps between teeth
- teeth that stick out or have moved over time
- many overbites, underbites and crossbites
At your consultation we will explain which option suits you. More complex bite problems may need a referral to a specialist, and we will always explain why.
Looking after your teeth during treatment
Rinse your aligners whenever you take them out and clean them with a soft toothbrush and cool water, as hot water can warp them. Brush before putting them back in so food isn’t trapped against your teeth. With fixed brackets, small interdental brushes help clean around the wires. Regular hygienist visits keep your gums healthy throughout.
How much does teeth straightening cost?
The cost of Invisalign depends on how much your teeth need to move, and we will give you a clear quote at your consultation before treatment starts. Short-term orthodontics starts from £1,320 per arch. 0% finance is available to help spread the cost. See all prices on our fees page.
Teeth straightening FAQs
How long does treatment take?
Short-term braces for minor crowding can take a matter of months, while aligner treatment often takes six to eighteen months.
Am I too old?
No. As long as your teeth and gums are healthy, teeth can be straightened at any age, and many of our patients are adults.
Does it hurt?
You may feel pressure for a day or two when you start or move to a new aligner. This is a sign it is working and soon settles.
Can I eat with aligners in?
No. Take them out to eat and drink anything other than water, then brush before putting them back in.
Will I need a retainer?
Yes. Teeth naturally try to move back, so wearing your retainer as advised protects your result.
