Dr Anwar has a vast international experience in dentistry with the last 16 years in the NHS and private practices.

He is a specialist in Dental Public Health with special interest in short term orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. His manners, communication and clinical skills are appreciated by the patients and clinical team alike.

In addition he can speak Urdu, Hindi, Arabic and Punjabi.

A family man with grown up children, has interest in 60’s music and outdoor activities.

He is available for consultation and treatment after hours and weekends.

Dr Ula Al-Ramadhani has a warm, inviting, and caring persona with excellent communication skills. Her priority is to help patients understand how they can best care for their teeth and gums whilst providing them with an outstanding level of treatment for their oral health needs. She has a broad range of skills and is comfortable with patients of all ages. She focuses on alleviating dental anxiety for her patients by using a gentle approach.

Ula continually strives for excellence in dentistry keeping her knowledge base up to date by attending courses frequently. She has a background in hospital dentistry where she gained experience in paediatrics, orthodontics, and oral maxillo-facial surgery.

Her particular interest is in enhancing the natural beauty of teeth with minimally invasive restorative techniques.

Her dedication to achieving the highest standards of care in her dental career are illustrated by the multiple awards she has won including the Deans prize for undergraduate research where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Outside of the dental world you’ll often find her exploring nature, cooking a feast or dabbling in interior design.

Adam graduated from the prestigious Barts and the London Dental Institute in 2021, and after gaining a wealth of experience in Bradford and Milton Keynes, has joined the Tooth Spa team in 2024.

Adam is passionate about delivering high-quality dental work to his patients, and takes great pride in ensuring his patients feel calm and comfortable throughout their experience. His desire to provide quality care has been reflected in the numerous awards he has achieved for his knowledge and management of gum disease and root canal treatments, and his Postgraduate Certification in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry awarded by the esteemed Aspire Dental Academy.

He also has a keen interest for teaching, and enjoys coaching and mentoring students who are as passionate as he is about a career in Dentistry.

In his spare time, Adam enjoys staying active with long-distance running and playing basketball. He is also an avid traveller, and is open to suggestions for his next destination!

Practice Manager

Emma joined the practice in 2018 after living and teaching in South Korea, making her especially good with our younger patients. With a background in Customer Service she always makes sure to give a warm welcome to patients and helps to make them feel as comfortable as possible in the practice.

Away from the practice, Emma enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading and true crime.

Dental Hygienist

Lina joined The Tooth Spa team in 2024 as a Dental Hygienist.

She likes to allow ample time for appointments to ensure that her patients feel listened to, care for, and treated appropriately.

Outside of work, Lina enjoys spending time wiht her family and friends.  She also enjoys reading and loves to experiement in the kitchen, always trying out new recipes and cuisines.

Dental Hygienist

Majidha began her career in Dentistry over three decades ago when she trained as a dental nurse at Leeds Dental Institute. She spent time working for Leeds Community Dental Services where she treated vulnerable children and adults and people with complex medical needs. In 1992 she returned to university and graduated from the Liverpool University Dental Hospital with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene.

Majidha enjoys her job immensely and loves being able to help anxious patients to restore their confidence in receiving dental treatment, practicing a ‘thorough but gentle approach’. She regularly attends dental courses to keep up to date with changes in the profession, thereby providing her patients with the best possible treatment.

In her free time, Majidha enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and countryside walks.

Dental Nurse

Lucy qualified in 2018 and enjoys assisting for all types of treatment from surgery, cosmetic work to routine exams. She has experience working with nervous patients, children and going on home visits.

In her spare time, Lucy enjoys going on long walks with her dog. She particularly loves hiking the Wainwrights in the Lake District or exploring the Peak District.

Dental Nurse

Kiram has been part The Tooth Spa team since 2021 and is a valuable asset, spending most of her Saturdays with us. Qualifying in 2018, Kiram has gained lots of skills across dentistry and has a particular interest in emergency dentistry and urgent care.

Away from the practice, Kiram is very family orientated, is a regular at the gym and an avid cinema-goer.

Trainee Dental Nurse

Anna is currently training to be a qualified Dental Nurse after many years working in fashion. She has already found a passion for dentistry and enjoys all aspects of the role, particularly oral surgery. She is a great addition to The Tooth Spa team, helping to communicate to our Polish speaking patients, and we look forward to helping her progress in her dentistry career.

When at home, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, fashion and caring for her collection of over 50 houseplants.
